Solution: Salesforce Service Cloud Flow for Hazardous Goods Management
A global technology company was facing operational inefficiencies and increased risk in managing shipments involving hazardous goods. Their manual process required partner users to submit forms, which internal teams then had to review and route manually — causing delays, errors, and inconsistent courier assignments. The lack of automation not only raised compliance concerns but also drove up operational costs.
To solve this, we implemented a record-triggered Flow in Salesforce Service Cloud that automated the entire hazardous goods handling process. The Flow generates cases from partner submissions, flags hazardous items, assigns them to the correct specialist team, and dynamically selects the appropriate courier based on location and goods type. This solution significantly improved processing speed, reduced human error, lowered costs, and enhanced compliance for sensitive shipments.
